Bejing announces his release for tomorrow

(05.11.2002) - Website http://www.hrwf.net - Email: info@hrwf.net - Today Life Fund for North Korean Refugees (LFNKR) held a press conference at 3 PM Japan time, with 80 journalists from 30 organizations attending. The first news hit the 5 PM newscasts in Tokyo, and at 8 PM China announced that Mr. Kato would be released tomorrow.

In the past few days, Human Rights Without Frontiers Int. had sent an appeal to the 626 members of the European Parliament, to the Belgian senators and deputees, urging them to fax letters of protest to various Chinese authorities (Prime Minister, Minister of Justice, Minister of the Interior, etc.).
