Structure
According to the Statute of the organization supreme bodies of the organization is General Assembly which elect Executive committee. The committee consists seven members of board of directors. There is provision of President, Vice-president, General Secretary, Treasurer and three members. The Board of Directors has the powers to formulate the plans, programmes and policies and also has the powers to approve the budget and conduct the audit of the accounts. The Board of Directors prepare agenda and majority votes approve or reject the agenda.
Membership
Rules of Membership:
a) Qualifications:
Those, who are above 18, support the objectives of the HRWF Bhutan, but not punished for any offence and free of from religious or political movement can obtain membership of the HRWF Bhutan.
b) Type of member and fee:
1. Founder member: Participants who are present at the meeting to establish the HRWF Bhutan and those who are the members of ad hoc committee at the time of affiliation are considered to be founder members of the HRWF Bhutan. Majority of founders will give their decision, if no unanimous support over an issue arises. Every founder member has to pay Rs. 101 per year, if they want to be the active in the HRWF Bhutan.
2. Active member: Any person who has been helping the activities of the HRWF Bhutan with interest could receive active membership. The active membership fee will be of Rs. 101. This membership should be renewed every year.
3. Life member: One who pays at least Rs. 2001 of any fixed/liquid assets more than this amount to the HRWF Bhutan could receive life membership.
4. Honorary member: The honorary membership will be issued to those who have made significant contribution in social field or have been famous in nation as well as abroad.
5. Life and honorary membership could be issued by central working committee.
Financial Procedure
a) The account of the HRWF Bhutan opened separate bank account with the help of Human Rights Without Frontiers, Nepal due to the legal problem.
b) The fiscal year of the HRWF Bhutan start from the first day of the month January and end at the last day of the month of December.
c) Audit: The statement of the income and expenditure of the HRWF Bhutan audit by an auditor appointed by the general meeting of the HRWF Bhutan and report submit to the Human Rights Without Frontiers, International.
